There are three main reasons for managing Health & Safety – Moral, Legal and Financial, to assist with this we can undertake compliance audits to identify any gaps and carry out health & safety performance inspections.


Legal Register Development

The purpose of a legal register is to identify and determine the health & safety compliance obligations relevant to your business. We will identify the applicable sections of law and provide a simple summary, so that you know “what the law requires you to do?”.

Other benefits of having a legal register include demonstrating how your business keeps up to date with changes in legislation. Recording and retaining documented information as evidence of compliance evaluation. Maintaining knowledge and understanding of the organisations compliance status. Also, the above are mandatory requirements of an occupational health & safety management system standard.


Health & Safety Compliance Audits

Do you know if you are compliant with Health & Safety legislation? This audit is designed to review all your activities, look at the corresponding legislation and ensure you are meeting your legal obligations. Once the audit has been completed you will receive an audit report with conclusions and recommendations. You will also receive a prioritised action plan detailing in simple terms what needs to be done. Additional support can be provided to ensure the actions are implemented.


Health & Safety Workplace Inspections

It's fine having all the relevant policies and procedures in place. However, there is a requirement to ensure they are being implemented in the workplace. Having an independent third-party inspection not only demonstrates your commitment to health and safety but also gives you confidence and peace of mind knowing that your employees are working safely. If any deficiencies are found these will be highlighted in a formal report with practical recommendations for improvement.
